Edsby shows parents what each of their children is doing and how they’re doing. It shows up-to-the-minute information, including grades, homework due and attendance, and specifics of what’s being taught in each class each day.
Easy parent-teacher communication, set up automatically
Edsby lets parents communicate with the educators shaping their children’s future through groups and secure personal messages. Parents see important school and district-level news. Teachers don’t have to collect and manage parent email addresses or send cryptic codes home. Parents don’t even need an email address!
School calendar & timetable
Edsby knows about and shares the timetable for a parent’s kids, including custom day cycles and period schedules, as well as information on important upcoming tests, events, assignments, field trips or other appointments. It reminds parents when they need to do something. It even knows about club and sports events. It’s a great reference to have when booking doctor’s appointments and holidays.
Edsby’s calendar is optimized for printing, too. Daily, weekly and monthly calendars can be printed and stuck on the fridge.
View students’ best work, incl. visual stories
Built-in electronic portfolios let students share their best work. Visual learning stories for younger students, curated by their teachers, give parents a window into kindergarten and other early grade achievement.
Edsby opens communication with students and parents. Students can upload their own work, see teacher feedback and reflect on the feedback.

Edsby forms can be used for secure, authenticated parent applications to kindergarten, IB or other programs with automatic payment processing. Edsby even has electronic field trip approvals and parent-teacher conference booking built-in.
