The Edsby platform is a modern application that uses modern web standards to deliver a powerful and elegant user experience. For it to work properly, you need to have a reasonably modern device designed to support current web and mobile technologies like HTML5 and JavaScript.
Edsby is tested extensively on recent versions of popular browsers, including:
- Google Chrome
- Apple Safari
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
If you’re getting a message that the current version of your browser is no longer supported, upgrade your browser to its latest version. Device OS and browser upgrades are free, and each new version tends to be faster, better and more secure than its predecessor. Keeping all of your software current, especially your browser, is generally a good policy.
We know it is not always possible to run the very latest version of a browser, so we try to make sure Edsby can work with slightly older, less capable browsers. But modern features expected by users are often available only on newer browser versions. It is not always feasible for Edsby to maintain support for older browsers.
Cookies Required
Like many modern web applications, Edsby stores a local “cookie” on your device to make logging in easier. You need to make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser for Edsby to work properly. Consult the help documentation for your browser if you need to find out how to check this browser setting.
JavaScript Required
The Edsby web user experience is built with JavaScript. You need to make sure you have JavaScript enabled in your browser. Consult the help documentation for your browser if you need to find out how to check this browser setting.
Mobile Device Operating System Support
The Edsby apps for mobile devices target support for mobile device OSes two versions back for iOS and iPadOS, and four versions back for Android. Ensure your device is running a contemporary version of its operating system or the Edsby apps may not perform as desired.
