Get a panoramic view of every student
With a single click, Edsby can pull together a complete picture of any student, called the Panorama page. The Panorama contains all the information Edsby knows about that student, including marks, classes, demographic information and more. The Panorama is a secure area, available only to teachers and school staff.
Edsby facilitates professional dialog
We know that even the best kids need help, and Edsby makes it easy for you and your colleagues to have a conversation about a student, right on the Panorama. Edsby lets you make observations about learning progress, and this is also where you can enter discipline forms and other important items.
Observe progress in other classes
On the Panorama, Edsby shows you what classes the student is taking and how they are doing in each class. At a glance you can see the student’s attendance record and marks published from each course they are registered in, as well as seeing their Subjective Performance Indicator in each course.
Schedule & workload
Edsby automatically copies the student’s schedule and assignments to their Panorama page, so you can see what their workload looks like and and whether they are getting assignments in on time in other courses.
Student & Parent Information
The Panorama also contains basic student information, such as their address and student number. We also let you add badges to the student’s information, so you can see at a glance if the student has a special status – for example a peanut allergy or an IEP. The Panorama also provides a list of all of the parents and guardians of the student.
Quickly drill down by name, mark, class, etc.
You also have access to the powerful Edsbyzoom tool, which allows you to quickly drill down to answer the any additional questions about the student you might have. Filter and sort students by mark, class, teacher, and a host of other tags and badges, such as “peanut allergies” or “IEP”. Edsbyzoom puts you in charge. And once you’ve found the set of students you’re interested in, Edsbyzoom provides powerful data analysis tools so you can track, identify and plan for kids at risk. (Video E-Zoom-11)
Reset passwords, monitor use, and more
Edsby knows that it can be difficult to reach the IT team, so the Panorama page is built so that teachers and staff can easily help students do simple tasks like resetting their passwords. And we’ve also built in some simply monitoring tools so you can see what students have been doing in Edsby.
